有邊個見過香港嘅野生貓頭鷹？
我見過！我真係見過！唔係通頂趕paper溫exam嘅貓頭鷹，而係香港常見嘅領角鴞（讀音：囂）。
佢地分佈香港廣泛地方，主要棲息係灌木林同樹林，屬於香港嘅留鳥，身上嘅保護色同樹木相近，而且夜間活動，令人較難發現。
要留意嘅係領角鴞屬國家二級保護動物，仲受香港《野生動物保護條例》及《受保護瀕危動植物物種條例》保護，有幸遇到嘅話記得靜靜地欣賞就足夠了。
What can we found at night when most of the animals are resting? An owl!
We saw a collared scops owl (Otus lettia) during our night walk lately.
It is difficult to notice them in the morning as they are nocturnal birds. They are resident birds in Hong Kong and commonly distributed in shrubland and woodland with large tree coverage.
Besides, they are under statutory protection in Hong Kong by Protection of Endangered Species of Animals and Plants Ordinance (Cap. 586) and Wild Animals Protection Ordinance (Cap. 170). Any hunting, wilfully disturbance, trading and possession of wild animals without permits are illegal.
